How you will impact Ingevity:


Ingevity's Engineering Rotational Program (ERP) is our premier two-year program designed to provide recent Chemical and Mechanical Engineering graduates with three rotation assignments in multiple U.S. operating facilities. As a Rotational Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to have unparalleled experiences in both our Performance Chemicals and Performance Materials divisions. Throughout the ERP, there is heavy emphasis placed on safety, teamwork, process improvement and leadership development. You will become familiar with production processes, gain valuable project management experiences as well as a firm understanding of equipment design, installation and startup. Your impacts would include but not be limited to:


  • Support safety and environmental initiatives protecting both employees and the environment
  • Perform evaluations and calculations:
    equipment sizing, mass balance calculations, vent flows, etc.
  • Evaluate improvements to the plant by running trials and interpreting results
  • Support both capital and non-capital projects
  • Responsible for improvements in safety, quality, plant availability, plant production, and cost
  • Define process requirements for new products and plant expansions
  • Specify design of experiments, equipment specifications, and installation requirements
  • Ensure safety of equipment and that design meets manufacturing needs and requirements
  • Support production engineers, maintenance, and other plant functions when needed
  • Serve as a liaison between production and project managers
  • Troubleshoot equipment and develop permanent solutions to repeat plant problems
  • Champion and participate in OPEX, Six Sigma, and lean activities to sustain continuous improvement

What you need to succeed:

  • Students receiving a bachelor&s;s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering with an anticipated graduation date from December 2021 to May 2022
  • Co-op and/or internship experience supporting production processes in a manufacturing environment is required, 2
    terms are preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
