Provides school psychological services to students in a public school by doing the following:
Psychological-educational tests, observation procedures, and consultations with administrators, teachers, and parents.
Communicates results and conclusions of evaluations, as related to instruction.
Completes comprehensive written reports according to departmental guidelines, accurately, and punctually.
Upholds high standards of confidentiality.
Serves as Baby Net/Child Find Coordianator.
Maintains records and statistical data of all activities.
Attend IEP meetings, as mandated by federal, state and local requirements.
Demonstrates effective methods of delivering psychological services with particular concern for fair and accurate assessment and interpretations.
Functions as a cooperative team member with site personnel.
Qualifications
Educational Specialist degree from an accredited college/university
Certified School Psychologist II teaching certificateEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
