Our Front End Developer are responsible for developing, monitoring and maintaining services that acquire and store data from a variety of sources and technologies. These systems and data are used to empower our analysts and data scientists' teams who provide custom data modeling, reporting and insights across Cox Automotive. The Analytics & Insights Group services a large variety of clients, frequently creating new and exciting data challenges that requiring a broad set of data engineering solutions. From project to project you could be working on a custom data warehousing solution for a paying client, to acquiring data from internal operational tools via APIs to developing website data collection solutions. There's no shortage of interesting projects that will stretch and grow your capabilities as a Front End Developer! Specifically, data transfer methods include but are not limited to, developing API's, deploying JavaScript website tracking solutions, developing ETL/ELT solutions to acquire and transform data, developing and maintain database and data warehouse schemas. The Front End Developer will help develop and implement data monitoring services to ensure alerting is in place should any part of the data transfer process fail. They will also assist with administrative and maintenance tasks associated with the various analytical systems and tools managed by the Analytics & Insights Group. Design, implement, and document custom data acquisition solutions Work with clients (Internal and External) to define, document, implement and monitor data acquisition solutions Employ a variety of languages and tools (e.g., scripting languages) to acquire and combine desperate data sets such as JavaScript, Java, Python and/or ETL/ELT tools Assist in client engagements to develop ETL/ELT processes to acquire and distribute data between a variety of data platforms (On-prem and cloud) Define, implement and maintain data monitoring and governance plans in alignment with business and technology objectives Collaborate with various Business, Operations, Products and Engineering groups to follow processes that ensures adherence to enterprise data standards, governance and acquisition principles Develop data monitoring solutions to ensure JavaScript tags are deployed and tracking correctly Stay up to data with the latest web standards with regard to HTML, JavaScript, and CSS Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant work experience developing JavaScript tagging and data capture solutions or an equivalent combination of education and work- related experience. Preferred
Qualifications:
3 years' experience with coding languages such as Python, Java, or Scala as it relates to transfer, manipulation, monitoring, and cleaning of large data sets 2 years' experience moving and manipulating large data via ETL/ELT tools like Talend and Informatica Experience with tag management solutions such as Adobe Tag Management Software, Google Tag Manager or similar Tag Management suite preferred
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
